Study Title: Preparing for and Navigating New Higher Education Leadership Roles: A Two-Phase Study of Veteran and Early-Career Leaders Purpose:

This study explores how academic leaders prepare for and navigate new roles. Your insights will help shape future resources for new leaders in higher education.

Participation:

The survey takes about 12–15 minutes and is organized into four brief sections.

Confidentiality:

Your participation is voluntary, and your responses are confidential. All data will be used in aggregated or de-identified form. Insights may inform academic publications, leadership development tools, and educational materials—including resources that may be made publicly available or offered as fee-based content. No identifying information will be shared without your explicit permission. At the end of the survey, you’ll be asked whether a.) You’re open to being quoted (anonymously or with attribution) and b.) You’re willing to be contacted for a follow-up interview. These options are entirely voluntary.
